Leicester Board of Assessors approves $1.42 million in motor vehicle commitments. Chair Arthur Paquette and Member Robert W. Mercer voted unanimously to sign motor vehicle commitments 2025-07 ($8,510.09) and 2026-01 ($1,412,586.56), along with an omitted and revised billing warrant of $26,031.07 and Burncoat Pond District assessments of $48,177.82.
The board voted unanimously to remove active farm plates from commitment 2026-01 to streamline the exemption process. Discussion of asset and income limits for the Senior/Veteran Work Off Program and hardship exemption clause 18 criteria were deferred to the next meeting.
