Board of Assessors approves prior minutes, continues tax-relief program review.

LEICESTER — The Leicester Board of Assessors approved prior meeting minutes and deferred action on senior and veteran property tax relief programs pending further research. Chair Arthur Paquette and Member Robert W. Mercer directed Assistant Assessor Kimberly McLaughlin to survey neighboring towns' eligibility criteria and report back before the next meeting.

McLaughlin presented her newly earned Certified Assessment Administration designation. Resident Sara Underwood discussed her potential candidacy for an open Board seat; Paquette agreed to contact Member Paul C. Davis about his interest in running and relay findings to Underwood.
