LEICESTER — Eight-town regional health coalition backs $125K vaccination funding bid. The Leicester Regional Public Health Coalition voted unanimously to support a Central Massachusetts Regional Health Foundation grant application for seasonal and homebound vaccination services, targeting populations with barriers to access, with potential funding up to $125,000 for a one-year project. Regional Health Director Mishel Caisapanta scheduled Narcan training for February 10 and Opioid listening sessions for February 11, March 3, and March 14 at Holden Fire Safety Building.
An Oakham resident raised concerns over 358 Coldbrook Road as a potential illegal landfill; Caisapanta noted a January 13 site visit with findings to be shared to the Department of Environmental Protection.
