Leicester Conservation Commission approves tree removal, pipe repair, and wetland delineations.

Conservation Commission · Meeting of May 6, 2026

Leicester Conservation Commission clears residential maintenance and approves delineation. Chairman James Cooper's panel issued negative determinations unanimously for tree removal at 130 Paxton Street and pipe repair at 800 Pleasant Street, both within 25-foot no-disturb zones, with equipment-restriction conditions. The Commission confirmed wetland boundaries for a 70-acre parcel at 1430 Main Street via an Order of Delineation following peer review.

A Notice of Intent for emergency water-main repairs by Cherry Valley and Rochdale Water District was continued to June 3 to allow coordination with MassDEP. Nelson Group Investments withdrew its Skyview Estates subdivision application without prejudice.
