Leicester deed filings show wide price spread as most August sales go undisclosed
Leicester recorded 12 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only five listed a sale price, ranging from $8,947 to $390,000 with a median of $124,000. The month's top sale was 11 King St. Ext. at $390,000, sold by Joseph and Meaghan Mastrorio to Bank of America NA and MERS. A second, price-undisclosed deed for a nearby King Street Ext. address moved from a trustee to a family trust the same day. Eight of the 12 recorded deeds involved a bank or credit union as buyer or seller, and seven of the 12 transfers carried no disclosed price at all, limiting how much of the period's activity can be measured in dollar terms.
