Leicester Planning Board approves permits for 32 storage containers and marijuana-farm modifications. The Board unanimously approved special permit modifications for two commercial storage facilities operated by Anthony Gleason II, permitting nine additional containers at 12 Huntoon Memorial Highway and 23 at 145 Clark Street, each with color-matching and operational conditions. The Board also approved a modification allowing Leon Dykas III to dry and process marijuana plants at his 124 Green Street facility, with a condition that odor-complaint plantings be submitted if neighbors complain.
A Walmart fuel-station application at 20 Soojians Drive was continued to February 17 pending revised pedestrian walkway plans. The Board recommended Virginia Drive for town roadway acceptance at Annual Town Meeting.
