Leicester Property Transfers Range From $48,700 To $450,000 In Late-Summer Filing Period
Leicester recorded 13 property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only five disclosed a sale price, ranging from $48,700 to $450,000 with a median of $180,000. The period's top sale was a $450,000 transfer recorded Aug. 10 from Robert W. and Laura D. Cortes to Andrew L. Geller, as trustee, and the Jeffrey Geller Special Needs Trust. Three of the five disclosed sales named a bank as buyer, and eight of the 13 total deeds, including a reciprocal trust transfer on Old Stafford Turnpike, carried no price at all. With most transfers unpriced, the data offers only a partial read on the local market's tone this period.
