Open Space committee approves prior minutes, continues trail-system review.

Open Space & Recreation Plan Committee · Meeting of January 7, 2026

Leicester's Open Space & Recreation Plan Implementation Committee approved prior minutes and advanced review of Goal Two objectives on trail connectivity. Chair Matt Fournier oversaw discussion of six actions under Objective 2.4, elevating Action B--determining which town-owned trails fit a public trail map--from low to high priority under Parks & Recreation jurisdiction. The committee approved forming a volunteer "team" for trail and park maintenance, authorizing state trail-grant exploration for surveying.

Action F, investigating ATV and motorbike areas, was deleted as outside OSRIPC scope, with referral to the Planning Board and Zoning Board. The next meeting is set for March 4, 2026.
