Parks and Recreation approves sweatshirt purchases, tabled Winslow gym update

LEICESTER — Parks and Recreation Committee approves basketball league sweatshirts, gate fencing, and skateboard park planning. Chair Matt Fournier and committee members voted unanimously to purchase sweatshirts at $37.58 per adult and $35.14 per youth for travel league players and coaches, approved $800 from Upright Fence for two new gates, and green-lit a $5,000 contract with ConnectForma Studio for Rochdale Park skateboard facility design and planning. Selectman Peter Connolly attended public forum and committed to helping the board track rental fund deposits and improve visibility into facility revenues, addressing committee concerns about limited transparency and control.
