Leicester Planning Board approves site plan for accessory housing unit at Pine Ridge Drive. Chairman Joshua Campbell and three members voted 4 to 0 to allow Timothy McDermott to demolish and rebuild at 4 Pine Ridge Drive with a new main house and 986-square-foot accessory unit above an attached garage. The Board also voted 3 to 0 (with member James Reinke recused) to release $79,129.65 plus interest to Central Land Development Corp. for completed work on Oak Bluff Lane Subdivision and voted 4 to 0 to approve closeout and fund release for the 747 Main Street project.
Board members expressed support for adaptive reuse of the vacant Memorial School building under the town's Adaptive Re-Use Overlay District, citing potential for office, commercial kitchen, or community space and the building's current $17,000-per-year solar revenue.
