Planning Board approves revised project review fee structure.

Planning Board · Meeting of April 7, 2026

LEICESTER — Planning Board backs revised fee regulations based on updated engineering consultant rates. Town Planner Kristen Jacobsen presented the new structure, designed to reflect Quinn Engineering's current billing, with the emphasis on peer review costs for larger projects. The Board voted 4 to 1 to approve the revisions dated 4/7/26, with member Lee Dykas voting against, citing affordability concerns for applicants.

In administrative actions, the Board unanimously appointed Janice Parke to the Zoning Bylaw Review Committee and approved prior meeting minutes. Conservation Administrator Lisa Westwell clarified that these are peer review fees only and do not apply retroactively.
