LEICESTER — Zoning Board approves dwelling variance, continues commercial parking permit. The board voted 4-1 to grant Margaret Rondeau a variance to construct a single-family home on a 55 Burncoat Street lot with 100 feet of frontage (150 required) and 30,000 square feet (50,000 required), after the home was built without amending an earlier variance. In the same meeting, the board continued a special permit hearing for Cedric Richardson's proposed seven-unit residential project at 981 Main Street to June 24, 2026, citing unaddressed engineering concerns from Quinn Engineering about underground stormwater chambers, runoff attenuation, and inadequate catch-basin capacity on the 65-percent-impervious site.
